I feel confident to now step out into a "real life: situation in massage and be able to grow
Given the vast differences in learning speed and previously attained knowledge within the class I thought they did a very good job in their efforts to accommodate all members of the class. All information was presenting in a number of ways which would cover all the different learning style types
The staff and trainers at ACFB have always been approachable and open and willing to help resolve any issues that may arise.
The trainers always were prepared for class and made sure it was clear to us all.
My trainers, Sean and Chris, were amazing, as well as other trainers who helped in clinic, especially Neil and Peter. I found Chris really articulate and succinct, and very easy to understand, and I enjoyed that he pushed for the absolute best that we could possibly be. I learnt so much from Sean throughout class and in clinic, his demonstrations of techniques was really useful and I use a lot of the techniques he taught me in treatments with clients and get really good results, especially the mobilisation work.
I found the trainers very friendly and helpful whenever i needed assistance with something they were always there and willing to help.
The warm and friendly environment and the wealth of knowledge of the trainers is key. But the facility and upcoming upgrades is a nice to have.
The trainer was very approachable and I felt very comfortable in asking any questions that I felt I needed to ask to gain clarity and further understanding.
They were great, definitely experts in the field
ACFB trainers are excellent. It was easy to approach them and not feel hindered if unsure about topics/training areas. Corrective Exercise and Clinical Impressions were particularly of high quality in layout and presentation.
I would recommend ACFB as a good grounding to learn relaxation and remedial massage. Through ACFB there is also the opportunity to continue studying and branch out into other related fields.
Both Chris and Sean welcomed questions, and answered all questions without judgement and were happy to spend time explaining information to us. Sean encouraged us to not always buddy up with the same person during MDN training to get practice on different body types.
The trainers feedback and knowledge was helpful- having already done the cert 3 and just doing the bridging course now, its like revisiting content, so Ill be interested to see how content and shared knowledge is for the cert 4.
The trainers accommodated the different learning styles and our needs
I feel very well equipped for the Massage industry with a deeper understanding of anatomy + physiology and a refined set of techniques to provide the highest standard of care for my client base.
