ACFB maintains small class numbers so that you have enough support and one-on-one time with your trainers. And we ensure every class has a mixture of theory and practical so you can maximise and retain the information you learn.
ACFB understands that everyone needs various levels of guidance and support when they study. That is why you will have access to our student support services throughout your course either in person or online.
ACFB has two exceptional training campuses in Ringwood and Mitcham with the latest gym equipment for our fitness students, electric massage tables in all classrooms and clinic rooms for our massage students, student computers and library, common rooms to study and trainers to assist you when you need.
Our team of highly qualified, experienced and supportive trainers have been teaching and working in their respective fields for many years are here to assist and guide you throughout your studies.
You will be able to benefit from an easy-to-use and interactive eLearning portal with detailed practical films covering all techniques, course workbooks, notes, PowerPoint's and assessments which are accessible at each stage throughout your course.
It’s the small things that ACFB puts into our training that has made us an industry leading college, and that led us to be a previous recipient of the Small Training Provider of the Year by the Department of Education.
When I came in to trainers to practice it was very good, trainers showed me with no problem.
The trainers have different teaching styles and made effort to accommodate varying student needs.
I thought my instructors had lots of knowledge and lots of great teaching techniques to help make everything easy to understand and retain.
The trainers are fantastic, each with unique qualities specific to their training and real life application.
Sean encouraged questions and class participation but at times it was difficult to ask those questions as Sean had a lot of content to cover.
Relaxed and friendly environment. Good facilities such as electric tables.
The clinics replicates the outside world and is run as professionally as some businesses, so I feel ready to work in the industry,
I felt that my trainer was genuinely interested in me and in my success as a student and subsequent trainer myself and wanted to bring out the best in me.
I feel very well equipped for the Massage industry with a deeper understanding of anatomy + physiology and a refined set of techniques to provide the highest standard of care for my client base.
The trainers were good and friendly always answered questions i had
(ACFB) has given me a lot of practical knowledge on what I might have to explain to clients
My trainers, Sean and Chris, were amazing, as well as other trainers who helped in clinic, especially Neil and Peter. I found Chris really articulate and succinct, and very easy to understand, and I enjoyed that he pushed for the absolute best that we could possibly be. I learnt so much from Sean throughout class and in clinic, his demonstrations of techniques was really useful and I use a lot of the techniques he taught me in treatments with clients and get really good results, especially the mobilisation work.
I enjoyed the way the content was provided, I found it was a good ratio of face to face classes, student clinic, and home study. The trainers are great. The facilities are good. The clients in student clinic are great.
I would recommend to come and learn all aspects of group and pt training as the course was very informative
My trainers always encourage student to ask questions and participate with others in class. However most of time because of time limit, I asked after class
