It’s the small things that ACFB puts into our training that has made us an industry leading college, and that led us to be awarded the 2013 Small Training Provider of the Year by the Department of Education.
Learning from the experienced trainers and them sharing there own experiences has helped. the course material was in depth also. I have known of people to do other pt courses and finishing it not knowing as much as they should.
The close intimate classroom environment, as opposed to big style learning (Uni/Tafe) where people and thoughts get lost in the crowd. Particularly important for PERSONAL training
One of the key things that made ACFB enjoyable was the personal interest the trainers took in all the students, even through basic things such as learning all names despite having minimal direct involvement with them in class.
The lecture material was always well presented and clearly delivered. If students were uncertain about something they were encouraged to ask questions which the trainer would then answer to clarify. The trainer was always enthusiastic and motivating and I found this inspiring.
Based on both my own experiences of ACFB, and information I have gained regarding the delivery content of Diploma of Fitness at other RTOs I would definitely recommend ACFB to others
I would recommend this course to others. It's the best course around and whenever I go to clinics for a massage and I tell them I'm a student they all say that ACFB is the best.
Everyone was very friendly and approachable, the instructors were very knowledgeable and had a great way of teaching.
Sean always demonstrated genuine interest in students and treated us with respect.
I heard about ACFB from a practicing myo, and after a tour I signed up as I felt very at ease and felt like I would learn a lot from the college
I will recommend ACFB to other people interested in Massage as they have a great clilnic to refine everything you learn in class before you go out into the workforce.
The trainers knowledge was excellent and easy to understand. Lectures were comprehensively delivered and utilised a variety of teaching techniques (i.e. visual, auditory and kinasthetic) and were well balanced across delivered material, group discussion and review and practical demonstrations and exercises.
I feel confident now that I know what I'm talking about, I feel ready to begin my career as a massage therapist. I'm looking forward to continuing on my journey next year in myotherapy.
The interactions I had with the ACFB trainers were excellent. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable and patient.
I loved the hands on massage the best! Always felt better having a massage before going back home. Loved the good time with trainers and class mates.
All of the staff and trainers at ACFB were approachable and open.
