Hours of Additional Support
Provided to Students per Year
ACFB maintains small class numbers so that you have enough support and one-on-one time with your trainers. And we ensure every class has a mixture of theory and practical so you can maximise and retain the information you learn.
ACFB understands that everyone needs various levels of guidance and support when they study. That is why you will have access to our student support services throughout your course either in person or online.
ACFB has two exceptional training campuses in Ringwood and Mitcham with the latest gym equipment for our fitness students, electric massage tables in all classrooms and clinic rooms for our massage students, student computers and library, common rooms to study and trainers to assist you when you need.
Our team of highly qualified, experienced and supportive trainers have been teaching and working in their respective fields for many years are here to assist and guide you throughout your studies.
You will be able to benefit from an easy-to-use and interactive eLearning portal with detailed practical films covering all techniques, course workbooks, notes, PowerPoint's and assessments which are accessible at each stage throughout your course.
It’s the small things that ACFB puts into our training that has made us an industry leading college, and that led us to be awarded the 2013 Small Training Provider of the Year by the Department of Education.
Theo delivered very informative sessions, having only had him in CERT IV, his approach was welcomed into expanding on learning by challenging concepts we had learned in CERT III to expand beyond what we had previously thought we had known. His information was very factual and insightful.
Before starting the course I had very little knowledge of anatomy and physiology and my gym experience was quite limited. I now feel that I have a good understanding of the how the body works and of how to develop basic exercise programs to best meet client's needs. I also appreciate the importance of health screening before designing any exercise program.
All the trainers were very open to communication and always offered extra assistance where required. Always felt comfortable having open discussion with them on new and different concepts
The trainers! I really enjoyed the combination of Tuesdays with Sean and Fridays with Chris, I think they are a good pairing of trainers, Sean is a bit more relaxed and casual, and Chris is a bit more structured.
After I got over the nerves, I really enjoyed the clinics and found I got most out of them
Delving into the relevant areas of study, but then practice, practice, practice, and constantly reminding us that we were capable and had learned what we required to be great in the industry
I like the location of ACFB and I really like how Andrew knew my name and greeted me each day he saw me. The student clinic is a great way to gain experience and to witness the benefit of tried techniques. All the trainers, not just my teachers are always helpful too. Neil, Peter and Bri often present as encouraging, interested and offer feedback as relevant.
I found the trainers & staff at ACFB extremely approachable & open.
i didn't do a normal diploma Massage course at ACFB , as i was a student transfer from SAGE which went into liquidation, earlier in the year. I did find both trainers extremely knowledgeable and very easy to understand.
I would highly recommend other people study at ACFB as it's a great school with great trainers.
I believe i now have all the tools i need to be in the workforce, i am confident with the skills ive learnt
Given the vast differences in learning speed and previously attained knowledge within the class I thought they did a very good job in their efforts to accommodate all members of the class. All information was presenting in a number of ways which would cover all the different learning style types
Questions relating to the material were invited and there was ample opportunity for group participation in class.
I really enjoyed the fact that kerry & Kylie, were able to outline exactly what I had to do to complete the Massage Diploma course. Given that SAGE Institute went into receivership and we only received some recognition of prior learning.
I enjoyed the way the content was provided, I found it was a good ratio of face to face classes, student clinic, and home study. The trainers are great. The facilities are good. The clients in student clinic are great.
