We are seeking a passionate and remedial massage therapist to join our team. All levels are welcome to apply.The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of and skills in massage therapy and a keen interest in developing their professional practice. This role offers a structured path for growth and the opportunity to become a permanent team member based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality remedial massage treatments to clients, adhering to company protocols and industry standards.
- Conduct client assessments to determine their condition and suitable treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. - Collaborate with other health practitioners to provide integrated care.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are maintained in a clean and hygienic state.
- Educate clients on aftercare practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy.
- Assist with reception duties and client scheduling as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming environment for clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or relevant qualification.
- Current registration with an accredited massage association.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping.
