Remedial Massage Therapist / Myotherapist,

We are looking for a unique therapist to add to our culture and build a name for themselves within our local community. We will work together to develop a client base through inter-referral and networks already established. This division in the company is in early stages of development so the successful applicant will be required to also market and develop relationships to bring clients in.

Tasks & responsibilities
– Able to contribute and create a positive, uplifting environment, while maintaining a professional, courteous atmosphere. Work with other team members in the MIND tribe to grow the wellness hub and company brand.
– Accurately assess and use appropriate massage techniques and treatment to be able to assist individuals in their recovery. Provide remedial massage, relaxation massage and sports massage options.
– Create, sustain and nurture an inter-referral network with our in-house Exercise Physiologists.
– Promotion of services to GPs, other health professionals, local sporting clubs and the corporate world.
– Execution of social media, website and blog communications.
– Compiling and updating the Myotherapist procedures manual within MIND protocols.

– Diploma of Remedial Massage and a Massage Association Membership. Knowledge of Myotherapy and remedial massage protocols and processes. A willingness to challenge “best-practice”.
– Current Insurance & registration, First Aid & CPR, police check and working with children check. Current or eligibility to attain provider numbers with Medibank Private & other health funds.
