Part-Time Personal Trainer (Mt.Evelyn)

We currently have a Personal Trainer position available for an enthusiastic and motivated exercise professional. We need someone who is great with one on one and in small group settings, with an ability to build relationships.

The challenge is using social media to build the reputation of the Gym, communicating with prospects interested in improving their health, leading them to join the Gym followed by an exercise routine they enjoy and stick at. You need to be so good they tell their friends about you.

There is the opportunity to move towards a Club Managers role, however initially the work is 15 hours a week consisting of afternoon/ evening shifts plus alternating Saturday mornings. There is some flexibility on the days of the week.

We don’t charge our PT’s rent, but you do get the opportunity to build Personal Training on top of your rostered hours.

This position is a great opportunity for an intermediate or advanced Personal Trainer wanting to work towards a Club Manager role. We want the best!

Duties include overseeing social media, membership sales, program prescription for individual needs, group training, gym floor duties.

To be a Personal Trainer with Fit! Gym you must:
• Love exercise and train regularly in a Gym
• Have a genuine passion for personal development and personal growth
• Be qualified Cert III and at least studying towards Cert IV
• Hold a Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Have a working with Children Check & Police Check

Sales ability and enthusiasm for fitness and people will move you to the top of the list of candidates more so than a degree and fitness centre experience.
