Massage Therapist or Myotherapist

The Healthmont Clinic is looking for an energetic myotherapist or massage therapist to join the supportive team of a full-time chiropractor and part-time massage therapist. The Clinic is located on the very busy Canterbury Road in Heathmont with the chiropractic practice in existence for over thirty years. Throughout this time the chiropractor has always placed a high therapeutic value on soft tissue techniques, so patients are attuned to this being part of their health care program.

The possible work days and hours are very flexible and can be negotiated on a per session basis, from Monday to Saturday. More arrangements will be discussed for applicants that reach the second interview.

Experience is preferred but will consider recent graduates. Dry needling as one of the therapeutic approaches is desired.

An electric massage table is provided but other supplies such as towels, oils, massage equipment etc. are expected to be self-sourced.

Applicants will need to consider themselves self-starters and have ideas on building their own clientele base within the clinic framework.

Other requirements would need to include; professional indemnity insurance, current first aid qualification and professional association membership.
