Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Choosing to study is a significant commitment of time, energy and money. As a Registered Training Organisation, ACFB has a responsibility to ensure students clearly understand their rights, obligations and options before and during enrolment. Transparent refund and withdrawal information is a core part of this commitment.

Cooling-Off Period

Students have a cooling-off period from signing the enrolment agreement up to 11:59pm the day before course commencement.

During this period, students are entitled to a full refund less the $300 admin fee, when withdrawn within the cool-off.

After Cooling-Off Period

Withdrawing after the cooling-off period:

Students are liable for full course fees, even if they haven’t accessed materials or attended classes.

Exception for Diploma of Remedial Massage

If withdrawn after cooling-off but before Section 2 commencement:

– The student is liable for 60% of the total course fee.

If withdrawn after Section 2 has commenced:

– The student must pay the remaining balance.

Notice & Process

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

After Course Commencement

Students who withdraw after the cooling-off period remain responsible for all fees payable.

If on a payment plan or ZipMoney, payments must continue as agreed.

Failure to honour payments may lead to debt recovery action.

Extenuating Circumstances

In genuine hardship cases (e.g., severe illness or family crisis), ACFB may consider refunds or waivers at its discretion, with documented evidence required.

Examples NOT accepted include change of mind, change in career path, financial difficulty, pregnancy, relocation, job changes, or failure to progress.

Provider Default & Appeals

If ACFB cancels classes or intakes, students can choose transfer or receive a full refund.

Students can appeal refund decisions under the Complaints and Appeals Policy.
