About Us
We’re currently a team of 2 – Mel is the Big Boss, and has been a full time Remedial Massage/Myotherapist since 2014. Duke is a Remedial Massage Therapist currently upgrading to Myotherapy at RMIT, and he is also studying to be a Pilates Instructor.
We’ve recently moved into our new clinic in Rowville, and can’t wait to grow our team!

Our Facilities
Our clinic has 2 treatment rooms and a corrective exercise space.
Both treatment rooms have electric treatment tables, sinks, treatment tools and supplies.
We have a staff break room with a dining table, fridge and basic kitchen supplies and snacks.
Linen delivery and pick up is outsourced to a professional linen company.
Connected Sonos sound systems in reception and treatment rooms.
HICAPS is available for private health claims.
We are located in a busy shopping hub with plenty of parking in Rowville (neighbouring shops include busy cafe, pizza shop, real estate, takeaway shops, IGA, pharmacy, doctor and chiropractor)

Bookings
We use Cliniko for our booking management.
Most patients book their appointments online or rebook at the end of their appointment.
We run active online advertising campaigns to attract new patients, and currently have more demand than we can fulfil.
Rebooking patients appropriately is expected, and we can help you with building your confidence in creating treatment plans and making rebooking an easy and comfortable part of your therapeutic relationship with your patients.

Are you a good fit?
We are looking for someone who fits our culture and ethos.
Fantastic hands on massage skills are a must.
An understanding, empathetic professional who can communicate easily with patients in language they can understand – save the abbreviations and anatomical terminology for the treatment notes.
Flexibility in treatment planning and being able to meet a patient where they are at.
We tend to see a high number of people with sensitive bodies and nervous systems that need a more nurturing touch.
We live that nerdy practitioner life, and love to learn new things. If you’ve done extra study or courses for techniques, modalities, or perhaps an instructor in yoga, pilates, meditation, etc we see that as a bonus (and if you’re interested in doing it, we want to support and encourage you to add those skills!)
We love to have fun and want to make your work day as enjoyable as possible.
We’re looking to start some team outings in the new year, some ideas so far are movies, rock climbing, dinner and drinks, trivia nights, and we’re open to more suggestions!

Above all, we really want to find someone who is a great fit for our team and our patients. Techniques can be taught and perfected, but attitude and outlook are unique to you.

Interview process will be in 2 stages. First we will invite you to a face to face interview, and candidates who progress to the second interview stage will come in for an approx 45-90 minute (paid) hands on demonstration interview where you will give 1-2 x 30 minute treatments.

Apply for this role by sending an email to Mel – [email protected]
Please include your resume and a short introduction to you, and your availability.
