I really enjoyed the fact that kerry & Kylie, were able to outline exactly what I had to do to complete the Massage Diploma course. Given that SAGE Institute went into receivership and we only received some recognition of prior learning.
I will recommend ACFB to other people interested in Massage as they have a great clilnic to refine everything you learn in class before you go out into the workforce.
All my trainers were approachable, however I always felt like Bri made me feel like she was always available to be approached with a problem or concern
In all cases I found the trainers to go above and beyond to help and make you feel at ease about questions I was not sure of.
I really appreciated being able to get a lot of assistance throughout the course, especially with my trainers taking time to catch me up on some techniques that weren't included in my Diploma, and especially in regards to orthopaedic testing.
I enjoyed the learning as it was very practical and helpful towards my goal of becoming a PT and starting my own PT business
I loved studying at ACFB, it was great to be pushed, to use my brain in ways it hadn't been used for awhile. It was so great to be around like minded people
The warm and friendly environment and the wealth of knowledge of the trainers is key. But the facility and upcoming upgrades is a nice to have.
There appears to be a higher level of professionalism than many other fitness institutes.
Very approachable, always open to questions and very supportive
I have had many compliments for my massage skills that I have learnt from ACFB
I would recommend that new students study at ACFB, As having studied massage at Box Hill Tafe, Sage Institute & ACFB, i can clearly outline that the Staff at ACFB are way more professional & knowledgeable than the other schools I have attended.
Before starting the course I had very little knowledge of anatomy and physiology and my gym experience was quite limited. I now feel that I have a good understanding of the how the body works and of how to develop basic exercise programs to best meet client's needs. I also appreciate the importance of health screening before designing any exercise program.
I feel confident to start using the skills I have learned. I see these skills as the starting point to continued learning in this discipline
I found my trainers friendly, approachable and happy to explain things (again) if I needed.
