How can I study at ACFB?
If you wish to enrol in a course at ACFB, you must 16 years of age and over and a minimum of year 10 English or equivalent is required prior to commencing any course at ACFB. Please contact ACFB prior to enrolment to enrolling to discuss your course options, study needs, fees, timetables and ACFB’s policies.
I want to become a personal trainer; what do I need to do?
I want to start my own massage business; what massage course do I need to do?
If you want to start your own massage business, the minimum qualification you will need to work in this industry is the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. If you want to offer remedial massage so your clients can claim through their health funds, then you will need to complete our Diploma of Remedial Massage course via on-campus or on-campus FLEXI study.
I have not studied for many years; will I be able to cope?
Most of our students studying ACFB's fitness courses & massage courses are mature age, many of whom have not studied for many years. ACFB’s fitness courses & massage courses are specifically tailored towards adult learners to help them get the most out of this studying opportunity. ACFB’s trainers are always available to answer any questions that students may have prior to enrolling and throughout the course duration.
How much homework is involved?
All of ACFB’s fitness courses & massage courses require homework to be completed each week. Students need to set aside a few hours a week to complete their studies in order to get the most out of their course.
Will I need a computer and internet?
Yes, all of your course material is available on-line via your interactive student webpage. Your assessments are also completed and submitted on-line.
What if I have trouble reading and writing?
Prior to enrolment, if you have not completed a Certificate III or equivalent level qualification, or you have English as a second language (ESL), at the discretion of ACFB you may be required to complete a (Language, Literacy & Numeracy) LLN form & a Core Skills Assessment so that we can best determine how we can assist you in your studies, or if you require additional assistance with your core skills. If ACFB feel that you need further assistance with your core skills prior to undertaking one of our course we may refer you to a local training organisation who delivers Foundation Skills provide courses.
Will I need to speak english?
Yes, all of your course material is in english and all students will need to be able to read, write, speak and understand english in order to complete ACFB's fitness courses & massage courses. If you have not completed a Certificate III or equivalent level qualification, or you have English as a second language (ESL), at the discretion of ACFB you may be required to complete a LLN form & a Core Skills Assessment.
Are there payment plans available?
ACFB provides a variety of instalment plans for all of our courses. Students can choose from a set plan or a personalised payment plan organised prior to the commencement of your course. ACFB's recommended instalment option is direct debit!
Are the courses recognised throughout Australia?

Do I have to give up my job to attend the course?
Can I complete these courses via Distance Learning?
